FOUNDER:  
           Haji Muhammad Ashraf khan Born in 1919 at village Nasir Pur, N.W.F.P. Pakistan was son of Roshan Din Khan and grandson of Seth Fazal Din, one of the very few landlords of the Province at that time.

After graduation from Islamia College Peshawar He decided to move to Mardan and started business. In very little time he became sole Distributor of esteemed organization like Burma Shell, Lever Brothers, Dawood Hercules, Associated Industries Ltd and became tom businessman of the Province.

Late Haji Muhammad Ashraf was married to Shirin Taj D/o Haji Faqir Muhammad and sister of Gul Muhammad Khan. God blessed the couple with seven sons and two daughters. All of whom reached the height in their respective fields.

The Eldest son Haji Muhammad Asaf, after completing his Master degree became the right hand of his father and after his death took over the control of family business.

Muhammad Aslam, the second son got Gold Medal in M.Com from Healey College of Commerce Lahore and his achievement was recognized personally by Seth hameed D. Habib, the founder of Habib Bank Ltd by directly appointing him officer in the Bank. Mr. Muhammad Aslam is presently working as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Habib Finance Australia- a joint venture of HBL and Australian government.

The couple third son Haji Muhammad Javed, Gold Medalist Mechanical Engineering from Peshawar University, after working in top National & International organizations and serving in many countries, shifted to Politics and won many elections and served as Provincial Minister for Physical Planning, Housing Industries etc and at present he is Human Right Ambassador to Pakistan, Chairman Skill Development Council Besides having many other port folios and looking after a vegetable Ghee owned by the family viz Ashraf Industries (Pvt) Ltd.

Fourth son Haji Muhammad Afzal graduate from Islamia College Peshawar is a renowned Trade unions Leader and prominent businessman of the Province. He also has the distinction of being the best Distributor of Ghee Corporation of Pakistan and is presently Senior Vice President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and President of Traders of Peshawar besides being Managing Director of the family owned Match Manufacturing Unit viz Ashraf Match (Pvt) Ltd an ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 certified Unit.

Fifth son is Haji Muhammad Akhtar who has responsible of setting up of various Industrial Units of the family and is considered to be expert of Installation and Erection of Industrial Undertakings. He has also been leading Flour Mills, Ghee Mills, Industrial Estate Associations at both Provincial and Central Levels and is presently Managing Director of Hussnain Daud Oil & ghee Mills (Pvt) Ltd Hattar, another family owned Ghee Unit.

Sixth son Muhammad Anees after getting education from Edwards College Peshawar has been actively engaged in looking after various trading concerns of the family and is presently looking after the family owned Flour Milling Unit viz Ashraf Flour and General Mills (Pvt) Ltd.

Seventh and the last is Muhammad Asad Ashraf who after graduation in Commerce from Peshawar university with Distinction has looking after the Head Office of the family owned Units and is responsible for Finance, Imports, Exports and Marketing of various Products being produces at family undertakings. Besides these responsibilities, he is a Social worker and affiliated with World’s largest service organization. The International Association of Lions Clubs

Haji Muhammad Ashraf and Shirin Taj’s daughters are also not much behind their brother. Afshan Ashraf the Elder daughter is a graduate from Peshawar University and is working as Educationalist. Seema Ashraf the younger is Medical graduate from Khyber Medical College Peshawar and is presently working for Pakistan Telecommunication Ltd as Senior Doctor.

After 44 years of trading business Haji Muhammad Ashraf and Sons entered the manufacturing arena and by the grace of God within very little time became one of the leading Industrial group of the Province running the following units.
         
         1. Ashraf Flour & General Mills (Pvt) Ltd-Flour Milling unit since 1986.
         2. Ashraf Industries (Pvt) Ltd-Vegetable Ghee unit since 1992.
         3. Hussnain Daud Oil & Ghee Mills (Pvt) Ltd-Vegetable Ghee unit since 1997.
         4. Ashraf Match (Pvt) Ltd-Match Manufacturing unit since 1998.
         5. M. Ashraf Gomal (Pvt) Ltd-Vegetable Ghee unit since 2000

At present three of the above units have been Exporting their products thus earning valuable Foreign Exchange for the country, besides supplies to organizations like Pakistan Army, International Committee of the Red Cross and Utility Stores Corporation etc now Para now the blessings of God continued on us in the form of Haji Muhammad Ashraf’s grandsons viz.

Mubashir Javed Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) & MBA
